Damodar Rajanarasimha writes letter to Chief Secretary

Hyderabad, July 29 (Maxim News): Former deputy chief minister of the undivided Andhra Pradesh and Congress leader Damodar Rajanarasimha today wrote a letter to the Chief Secretary of the state over the issue of Kaleswaram project. He said that he came to know about the damages done to the pipelines that transport water from Annaram pump house to barrage.

He also said that several news reports had stated that the damages were done due to the lack of quality of the pipelines and supervision by officials concerned. He said that it was rule that the pipelines are laid by based on water velocity and the status of the layers of the land. He said that the authorities concerned should also take steps for to avoid any obstructions like tanks and ponds .

He asked the CS to provide the details about the barrage. He demanded the state government to release a white paper on the Kaleswaram project. (Maxim News)
