The NIA identified the four accused as Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ganai of Pulwama, Dr. Adeel Ahmed Rather of Anantnagar, Dr. Shaheen Saeed of Lucknow, and Mufti Irfan Ahmed Wage of Shopian. According to the statement, they were taken into custody on production orders issued by the District Sessions Judge at Patiala House Court. The agency said the four played a key role in the terror attack that killed many innocent people and injured many others. Therefore, the arrests are seen as a crucial step in uncovering the full network behind the blasts.

Meanwhile, officials noted that 13 people were killed and 32 others were seriously injured in the Red Fort blast in Delhi. The incident shocked the national capital and triggered a wide security response. Since then, security forces have intensified the investigation into the Delhi bomb blast incident. The new arrests are expected to help the agency move forward with the next stages of the case.

The statement added that the investigation remains active as teams continue to trace more links. Officials are also reviewing evidence gathered earlier. However, the NIA has not released further details about the suspected roles of the four accused beyond the confirmation of their alleged involvement. The agency is expected to file more updates as the investigation progresses.

The arrests have increased pressure on the broader probe as investigators try to connect the events and identify more people linked to the planning and execution of the blasts. The case has drawn strong attention due to the number of casualties and the scale of the attack. The latest action by the NIA signals the agency’s push to bring all those responsible to justice.
