On thursday, in his chamber at the GHMC headquarters, he thoroughly discussed the performance of media certification and monitoring, model code of conduct, expenditure monitoring, man power, material management, PWD and others with the officers of the election department. 

Various instructions were given to the nodal officers of the respective committees in the relevant matters.  Similarly, C-whistle, SMs Monitoring Cell, NGS Portal, Encore App. Queue Management, Voter turnout. Redressal Cell etc. Other election arrangements were discussed.

It has been suggested to the concerned officer that postal ballot printing should be done carefully and all the employees who have got approval of Form-12 can use the postal ballot. 

All the staff who are engaged in election duty should make all arrangements so that they can exercise their right to vote with a postal ballot.

They want to set up separate lanes for postal ballot strong room inside and outside

In order to increase the voter turnout in the district, they want to do a large – scale campaign on the various programs that are being carried out on a large scale.

Complaints received in the “C” whistle should be resolved in a fixed time from time to time.  The concerned nodal officer was advised to prepare for the second round of training for the election staff. 

They should send a letter to the HoDs of the respective departments that there is no exemption from the election duties and that no one is exempted from the election duties.

The concerned officials were advised to conduct a large-scale campaign to increase the voter turnout. 

The concerned officials were advised to inform the polling date on May 13 to ensure that every single voter casts their vote and take up awareness programs immediately.

He said that the respective nodal officers should perform their duties with vigilance to avoid any mistakes. (Maxim News)
