Amaravati, July 17 (Maxim News): Visakhapatnam Metro Regional Development Authority Chairman Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao today called on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and thanked him for appointing him to the post.
It may be mentioned here that his father Dronamraju Satyanarayana was the first chairman of then newly-constituted Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority in 1978 after it was upgraded from the Town Planning Trust. Now, after 40 years, Satyanarayana’s son Dronamraju Srinivas will be holding the post as Chairman of the VMRDA. Sinivasa Rao said he would live up to the expectations of the Chief Minister. He said he would work in coordination with the ministers, legislators and officials.
A two-time MLA from Visakhapatnam South Assembly Constituency, Srinivasa also served as Government Whip when he was with the Congress. He joined the YSR Congress Party in March this year. (Maxim News)
