Kolkata/Hyderabad, Nov 21 (Maxim News): An earthquake struck the capital of West Bengal, Kolkata. The ground shook several districts of the state. Reports say that the earthquake occurred 27 km east of Tungi in Bangladesh on Friday morning , and its impact was felt as far as Bengal.

The earthquake was recorded at 10:38:30 am local time. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), there were reports of minor tremors from several areas after the earthquake. (Maxim News)
