Farmers’ Loans Should Be Waived At Once Not In Installments: Jeevan Reddy

Hyderabad, Aug 3 (Maxim News) Senior Congress leader T. Jeevan Reddy said that he is happy that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has remembered the farmer’s loan waiver at the time when the Telangana Assembly Elections are approaching.

Speaking at the media point, here today, Jeevan Reddy said that the loan waiver was done only for the farmers who have outstanding debts of less than Rs. 36 thousand. It was announced in the last election that farmers’ loans would be waived in installments. In this way, the farmers’ loan waiver should be completed already.

He said due to the delay in waiving the loan of farmers, the interest has been accumulated. the amount of loan waiver is enough for paying the interest, with this there is no benefit to the farmers. He said that all the subsidies have been removed and only the Rythu Bandhu is being given.

He said that even the August month has come, the Rythu Bandhu payment has not been credited to those farmers who had more than 6 acres of land. He demanded that the farmers’ loan should be waived at one instead of in installments. (Maxim News)
