First Meeting of Telangana State Heritage Authority held

Hyderabad, Aug.24 (Maxim News): First Meeting of Telangana State Heritage Authority (State Level) held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, today at BRKR Bhavan. The Committee has discussed various Heritage issues pertaining to the 26 Protected Monuments in twin cities, Qutub Shahi Tombs and Golconda Fort.

Chief Secretary directed the officials to prepare a brief status note on above protected monuments with Photographs and also requested to submit inspection report to take further action. The Committee asked to submit draft guidelines on buffer zones for Qutub Shahi Tombs before Greater Hyderabad Heritage and Precincts Committee.

The Chief Secretary also directed to submit integrated conservation and management plan for the development of the Kakatiya Rudreswara (Ramappa) Temple at Palampet Village in Mulugu District.
