Former MLC Santosh Kumar Goodbye To BRS

Hyderabad, Aug 23 (Maxim News): Former MLC Santosh Kumar left the BRS party. He resigned from the party and basic membership. To this extent, he sent his resignation letter to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Former MLC Santosh Kumar said that he left the Congress and joined the party on the CM’s call to come together for a golden Telangana. But now he said that he is going to the party due to unavoidable circumstances. He clarified that he will contest from Karimnagar in the next election.

Santosh Kumar who was a key leader in Karimnagar Congress, joined BRS in 2018. At that time, along with Santhosh Kumar in the legislative council, three more Congress MLCs joined the BRS. With this, chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy took a decision to cancel the recognition of Congress in the Legislative Council. But after joining BRS, Santosh Kumar was expected to get any other nominated post but till now he has not been given priority in the ruling party. Dissatisfied with this, Santhosh Kumar withdrew from BRS when the MLA tickets were finalized.

It is reported that Santosh Kumar is joining the Congress party.  At present BC in Karimnagar district, among the minority voters, Santhosh Kumar is tough.  Political analysts are predicting that his change of party may cause damage to BRS in the Karimnagar constituency.  It seems that Santosh Kumar will contest from Karimnagar in the next election.  (Maxim News)
