New Delhi, May 25: Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Sunday.

The meeting took place at Seva Tirth, the Prime Minister’s official residence and office complex in the national capital.

Venkaiah Naidu has been serving as the Chairman of the Atal Smriti Nyas Society since December 2025. The society oversees the management and activities related to the memorial of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Sadaiv Atal.

Venkaiah Naidu Discusses Vajpayee Legacy

During the meeting, Venkaiah Naidu discussed plans and procedures aimed at preserving and promoting Vajpayee’s thoughts, ideologies and values for future generations.

Sources said the discussions focused on activities and programmes to be organised through the Atal Smriti Nyas Society at the Vajpayee memorial.

The society has been managing the memorial and related initiatives since the completion of its construction in Delhi.

Officials said the objective is to ensure that Vajpayee’s contribution to Indian politics and public life continues to inspire younger generations.
