Hyderabad: IS Sadan Police arrested four persons for carrying out slingshot attacks on shops across the city.
The accused allegedly damaged multiple shop glass panes in a series of incidents.
Slingshot Attacks Across Hyderabad Areas
Police said the accused targeted areas including Saidabad, Chaderghat, Malakpet, and Chandrayangutta.
The suspects were identified as Khaled Bin Ali, Shaik Moosa Bawazeer, Mohd Hilal Mohiuddin, and Mohd Muddassir Quereshi.
They allegedly used a car to move across locations and carried out at least 11 such incidents.
According to police, the attacks were done for amusement.
Officials seized the vehicle used in the crimes along with mobile phones, glass balls, and a slingshot.
The arrests were made after analysing CCTV footage from multiple locations.
Cases have been registered under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Further investigation is underway to verify if the accused were involved in more incidents.
