A high-level delegation from the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry held a series of meetings in Japan to explore new trade and investment opportunities. The group was led by Shri Ravi Kumar, President of FTCCI, along with Shri K. K. Maheshwari, Senior Vice President, Shri Srinivas Garimella, Vice President, and other senior members. They said the visit helped deepen dialogue with key Japanese organisations and government bodies.

The delegation met officials from JETRO, the Ambassador of India to Japan, representatives of the Yokohama India Centre, officials from the Yokohama Prefecture Government, and several industry groups. These meetings focused on ways to strengthen bilateral business ties. The FTCCI team shared details about Telangana’s industrial growth and its focus on investment-driven development. They explained that the state offers a strong industrial base and clear policy support for new investors.

During the discussions, both sides exchanged views on trade expansion and technology partnerships. The delegation said the talks helped highlight how Telangana’s business climate supports industries that seek long-term investment stability. They invited Japanese companies to explore sectors such as advanced manufacturing, mobility, infrastructure, electronics, IT and emerging technologies, renewable energy and logistics. They also encouraged collaboration in MSME development, noting that small and medium enterprises can gain from joint efforts.

FTCCI noted that the conversations showed a shared interest in deeper cooperation. They said the meetings helped build confidence among Japanese stakeholders about exploring opportunities in Telangana. They believe the outcomes of the visit will support new investments, joint ventures and long-term ties. They added that both regions stand to benefit from stronger economic engagement.

The delegation said the visit ended on a positive note. They expressed hope that the momentum created in Japan will lead to follow-up discussions in the coming months. They also said the talks aligned with the broader goal of improving economic links between India and Japan.
