Good News To AP : Center Approved To Construct Central Secretariat Project At Amaravati

Delhi/Hyderabad, June 10 (Maxim News): The Center has given big good news to Andhra Pradesh capital Amaravati, said Union Minister of State for Health and Communications Pemmasani Chandrasekhar. The Union Cabinet met under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday. In this meeting, approval was given for the construction of the Central Secretariat project in the capital Amaravati. In this context, Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar responded. He explained that the Central Secretariat project worth Rs. 2,500 crore has been approved in Amaravati. He said that an office complex with an area of 23 lakh square feet will be constructed on five acres.

He explained that government offices will be set up in two huge towers. He also said that this modern office complex will be built with parking facilities for 1,800 cars. He said that a residential complex will be built on 17 acres at a cost of Rs. 1,234 crore. He said that 1,568 residential quarters will be constructed in 11 towers. The Union Minister expressed happiness that a gated community will be established with green energy, community halls and modern facilities.

He said that if this proposal is made in 2018, it will move forward rapidly after 2024. He said that this project has been approved with the cooperation of the Union Urban Development Ministry and the Finance Ministry. Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar clarified that this project has been possible with the cooperation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu. (Maxim News)
