Hanamkonda Additional Collector Caught By ACB While Taking A Bribe Of Rs. 60.000

Hanamkonda/Hyderabad, Dec 6 (Maxim News) Every day, a high ranking official is being caught in corruption, illegal assets and bribery cases.  yesterday, the Rangareddy district land records assistant was caught by ACB officials.  The recent arrest of the Hanamkonda district additional collector by ACB officials is causing a stir.

The fact that a person at the level of a collector was caught taking a bribe has become a topic of discussion.

On Friday (December 5), ACB officials raided the Hanamkonda Collectorate.  Hanumakonda Additional Collector Venkat Reddy was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe from the owner of a private school for the renovation of the institution.  Venkazt Reddy is also holding additional responsibilities as the current Hanumakonda DEO.  In this order, he demanded a bribe of Rs. 60 thousand for the renovation of a private school and was caught by ACB officials.

On Thursday, ACB officials conducted searches at the house of the Assistant Director of land Records in Rangareddy District.  They seized assets worth about one hundred crores.  ACB officials have registered several cases against him in the disproportionate assets case.  (Maxim News)
