He also demanded a white paper detailing additions and removals from the prohibited land list since December 7, 2023.

Harish Rao said the BRS was ready to face scrutiny of its government if the same process was applied to the Congress government.

Harish Rao Seeks Probe Into 22A Land List

Harish Rao questioned the inclusion of entire survey numbers in the prohibited list.

He asked why officials responsible for alleged errors had not faced action.

He also pointed to differing statements by Revanth Reddy and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.

According to Harish Rao, the Chief Minister said officials had uploaded old prohibited land records in haste.

He said this had increased the affected area from about 3.71 lakh acres to nearly 30 lakh acres, citing the Chief Minister’s statements.

Harish Rao questioned why affected property owners had to approach officials for relief.

He said committees and new guidelines alone would not resolve the issue.

He also questioned the removal of the Chief Minister’s residence from the prohibited list.

Harish Rao demanded similar relief for ordinary property owners.

He said the law should apply equally to the Chief Minister and common citizens.

The BRS leader also alleged irregularities under Bhu Bharati.

He cited more than 9,200 registrations that he claimed were carried out without the knowledge of property owners.

Harish Rao also referred to an alleged land transfer involving a woman undergoing cancer treatment in Gajwel.

He sought explanations over alleged irregularities in the Jangaon stamp duty and Nadergul land cases.

Harish Rao rejected allegations concerning his own properties.

He said his agricultural land details were already disclosed in election affidavits and income tax returns.

He also alleged that Revanth Reddy’s family held around 308 acres across different locations.

Harish Rao challenged the Chief Minister to agree to a judicial inquiry into those properties as well. These claims remain allegations by the BRS leader.

Harish Rao further criticised the suspension of BRS MLAs from the Assembly.

He alleged that the suspension prevented the Opposition from raising questions on public issues and the Six Guarantees.

He challenged the government to lift the suspension and allow BRS legislators to attend the Assembly.

The Congress government and Revanth Reddy have presented a different account of the 22A issue.

Revanth Reddy has said the prohibited list includes several categories of protected land and that the dispute over private patta land is much smaller than the total list.
