Hyderabad, July 30 (Maxim News): The Telangana High Court adjourned the petition on the disqualification of MLAs who defected from the party.

BRTS leaders filed a petition to disqualify Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender, Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiam Srihari and Bhadrachalam MLa Tellam Venkata Rao. The High Court heard the arguments and postponed the next hearing to Thursday (August 1, 2024)
petitioner’s lawyer Gandra Mohan Rao asked the Speaker to give orders to disqualify the MLAs, Gandra said that no action was taken against the three MLAs who complained to the Speaker. While referring to several judgments given by the Supreme Court in the past, the High Court adjourned the next hearing to August 1. (Maxim News)
