Thiruvananthapuram/Hyderabad, June 11 (Maxim News): Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi is in trouble. BJP woman leader navya haridas has filed an election petition in the High Court challenging the results of the by-elections to the Wayand Assembly constituency in Kerala held in November 2024. The High Court, which accepted it, has issued summons to Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Navya Haridas has approached the Kerala High Court challenging Priyanka Gandhi’s victory in the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-election and seeking the cancellation of the poll. She alleged that Priyanka Gandhi had concealed details of her and her family members’ assets in her election affidavit. Navya has sought a declaration of her victory inthe wayanad Lok Sabha by-election as null and void.

Kerala High Court judge K.Babu heard the petition filed by advocate navya haridas. navy alleged that details of investments and movable assets related to Robert Vadra were hidden in the affidavit filed by Priyanka before the Returning Officer, By-elections were held for Wayanad on November 13, 2024, after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who had won from the Wayanad seat, vacated the seat.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who contested from this seat, won with a margin of 4,10,931 votes. She defeated her close rival, Satyan Mokeri of the Communist Party of India (CPI). There was a three-way fight between the Congress, CPI and BJP in Wayanad that day. (Maxim News)
