China is known for producing cheap and low-cost products. China can give low-cost products because of their working conditions, which is not possible in an open and democratic country like India. The only alternative left for us to compete with China, which is still known as the Factory of the world, is to produce quality products. After rolling out the Make in India initiative by the government of India, the quality consciousness of the industry has gone up. To produce quality products we need quality machine tools.
