HMR Project Bags Ultratech Award

Hyderabad, Sept.8 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd (HMRL) and L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (LTMRHL) have announced that the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project has been awarded “Outstanding Concrete Structure for Infrastructure” from Indian Concrete Institute – UltraTech Awards 2018” at a grand ceremony here.

The Metro Rail project reportedly won this prestigious award in a stiff competition from many other important mega projects. The Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) was working in the field of Concrete and Concrete Construction with its headquarters in Chennai. The ICI – UltraTech Excellence Awards recognize and reward the country’s best concrete excellence achievements. The awards acknowledge the efforts across projects, persons and companies that have outshone others in their respective categories. Now ICI – UltraTech Awards are the most recognized and highly valued awards, celebrating the achievements of the country’s concrete excellence in Architecture and Design.

HMRL Managing Director NVS Reddy received the “Outstanding Concrete Structure – Infrastructure” award from K Rosaiah, former Governor of Tamil Nadu. Speaking on the occasion, NVS Reddy said, “Hyderabad Metro Rail structures are not only of high quality and possessing good structural stability, but are also aesthetically designed sleek structures. They are like poetry in concrete.”
