Hyderabad Census Training Centre | Hyderabad, April 23 : GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan on Thursday inspected the Census Training Centre set up at Sultan Ul Uloom College in Banjara Hills for Jubilee Hills Circle 36.
During the visit, the Commissioner reviewed training arrangements, available facilities and the overall preparedness for upcoming census activities. He examined whether the centre was ready for smooth and efficient operations.
Officials briefed the Commissioner on training schedules, staff deployment and support systems arranged for enumerators and supervisors.

Karnan interacted with officials and trainees during the inspection. He stressed the need for accuracy, proper coordination and timely execution throughout the census process.
GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan said census work plays a key role in planning civic services, welfare schemes and infrastructure development. Therefore, every stage of training must meet required standards.
The Commissioner also directed concerned departments to provide all logistical support without delay. He asked officials to ensure seating arrangements, training material, technical equipment and basic amenities remain available.
Preparedness Reviewed Across Centre
Officials said the inspection aimed to strengthen readiness before field level census work begins. They added that trained staff would help complete the process efficiently.
The GHMC has been reviewing arrangements at multiple locations to ensure a smooth census exercise across the city. Similar inspections may continue in other circles in the coming days.
Authorities said proper planning, staff coordination and timely training will help avoid disruptions during the enumeration process.
The Commissioner later urged teams to maintain discipline and complete all assigned duties as per schedule.
