Hyderabad: KTR Urges Centre Not Extending Support For Development
Hyderabad, Sept.14 (Maxim News): Municipal and Industries Minister, KT Rama Rao today accused the Centre of not extending support for development of Hyderabad as a global city.
He informed the council during school debate that the centre has not prepared for offering support to development of the city. The government has four plans for city development with roads and infrastructure he said. However, the centre is still denial mood to offer its defense land for roads.
We repeatedly asked defense minister Rajnath Singh in this regard and there is no response We plan to lay more roads and the defense officials often closes its cantonment roads. It causes a lot of inconvenience for road users and the centre is responsible for the problem, he alleged.
The centre has to give its defense lands for roads development in the city he said. He slammed the BJP leaders of the state for false allegations.
Local BJP leaders should exert pressure on the centre for such roads and finds for development. The government has taken up several programs for development of Hyderabad as global city, he added. (Maxim News)
