Hyderabad, April 20: Hyderabad Police issued a traffic advisory for IPL 2026 matches at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, warning of congestion and diversions around Uppal.
Matches are scheduled on April 5, 13, 18 and 21, and May 3, 6 and 22. Officials expect heavy traffic due to large crowds.

Traffic congestion is likely from noon to late night on match days. Key routes include Nagole to Habsiguda via Uppal and Boduppal to Amberpet via Ramanthapur.
Police said heavy vehicles will face restrictions within Uppal limits. Diversions will be enforced at Nagole, Habsiguda, and Ghatkesar.
Vehicles from Ghatkesar towards Uppal will be diverted near Mehfil Hotel towards Nagole and LB Nagar. Traffic from LB Nagar will be rerouted at Nagole Metro Station.
Commuters from Tarnaka and Ramanthapur will be diverted via Nacharam and NFC Rotary. Long distance vehicles are advised to use the Outer Ring Road.
Officials urged citizens to use public transport like buses and metro services to reduce congestion during IPL 2026 matches.
