The accused operated the fraudulent JMJ Reddy Consultancy in Himayathnagar since 2020 promising foreign employment opportunities. They targeted job seekers by offering high-paying overseas positions, quick visas, and no prior qualifications, for which they charged exorbitant fees.

The accused issued fake visas and collected approximately Rs 83 lakhs from around 25 victims, promising jobs and other benefits that never materialized. The victims were left stranded with fake documentation. Abhishek Reddy, who had previously worked in Singapore, used his contacts to establish the consultancy and misled candidates about job placements.

Cheating cases had been filed against the duo who were found to be absconding before their recent capture.
