Hyderabad: Two Temple Thieves Arrested At Langer Houz

Hyderabad: Two persons who decamped with the offering box of a temple in Langer Houz were caught by the police on Tuesday. The police recovered the box and an auto-rickshaw from them.

The arrested persons were identified as Shaik Eisa (28) of Tappachabutra and Syed Ahmed Hussain (25) of Hakeempet.

“The two entered the Gouri Shankar Maruthi Devalayam at Maruthinagar in Langer Houz on the night of September 29 and decamped with the ‘hundi’ (offering box) containing Rs. 15,000,” said L Bhasker Reddy, SHO, Langer Houz.

The police tracked the duo down on Tuesday, after which they were arrested and produced before court.
