Today, Several leaders of the AIMIM staged a protest against the demolition of houses in Bahadurpura by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection (HYDRAA) The protest took place at the Bahadurpura MRO office.

The protesters raised slogans such as “CM down, down” and “HYDRA hatao ghar bachao” (Remove HYDRA, save our homes). They expressed their opposition to the demolitions, arguing that the affected residents had not been given adequate notice or compensation.

The protest comes amid growing concerns over forced demolitions in Hyderabad. Many residents have complained about losing their homes and livelihoods without proper legal recourse.
GHMC Corporators belonging to the AIMIM, Mohammed Saleem, Khaja Mubashiruddin, Abdul Khadar, and Nawazuddin, were arrested by police during the protest and sent to Falaknuma Police Station. (Maxim News)
