HYDRA personnel entered the area on the orders of Commissioner Ranganath. They carried out demolition drives to remove illegal structures. Meanwhile, HYDRA teams worked along with police and revenue officials during the operation. They used 15 JCBs to clear the encroachments from the layout. The action focused on restoring roads and park areas meant for public use.

Local residents told HYDRA that a private individual had encroached on land in the layout. They said the layout received HUDA permission about 40 years ago. According to the complaint, around four acres of land had been encroached upon. Therefore, HYDRA stepped in and removed the illegal structures. Officials said the action helped protect public land meant for residents.

Meanwhile, HYDRA also reported that it had saved lands worth Rs 500 crore at three locations in Hyderabad city. The agency continued its drive against illegal occupations across districts. In Medchal Malkajgiri district, HYDRA removed illegal constructions from about 100 ponds in Dulapally village. This pond spreads across 42 acres. Officials said they received complaints about filling of the FTL area and construction activities, with claims that the ridge lay on the right side.

After verification, HYDRA identified encroachments over 11 acres and removed them. Also, HYDRA saved three and a half acres of government land in Survey Number 128/1 at Yousufguda. Officials removed sand and brick businesses along with temporary sheds from about 3.20 acres of land.

In another action, HYDRA secured 1,365 square yards of land belonging to a Shiva temple in Ramakrishna Nagar Colony, HMT Layout, at Nagaram in Medchal Malkajgiri district. A Shiva temple was built on 400 yards of this land in 2017, while the remaining area remained vacant. Residents complained that some locals were trying to encroach upon it. Therefore, HYDRA installed boards stating that the 1,365 yards belonged to the temple.
