Hyderabad, Dec 27 (Maxim News): Keeping in view that 12 people who came from abroad were diagnosed with coronavirus at Bangalore Airport, The Telangana State Medical, and Health department which has already set up screening centers at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) have increased two more screening counters to intensify checks after the Bangalore incident.
Officials say that every passenger from abroad is allowed out only after a thorough examination. He said that they are monitoring the passengers for a week after their arrival. It is said that not only are tests being conducted immediately if symptoms appear, but all kinds of pre-arrangements are being made to move them to isolation centers and provide treatment if necessary.
Officials have clarified that the cases are under complete control in the Greater Hyderabad area. However, as part of the precautionary measures, as per the orders of the authorities, steps will be taken to increase the number of corona testing centers in Greater Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
