Hyderabad, Aug.4 (Maxim News): Minister Indrakaran Reddy today inaugurated Lower Penganga irrigation chief engineer office comprising 13 wings at Adilabad. Reddy planted saplings as part of Haritha Haram in the office premises. The building was constructed by spending Rs 6.48 crore and will offer services and coordinate irrigation works he said. The minister said that the government is committed for irrigation projects and the new office will prove handy.
He also distributed Rythu Bhima Cheque to wife of K Mallaiah who died at his field recently. Reddy offered Rs 5 lakh cheque to the victim on the occasion. Local leaders and officials were those present. (Maxim News)
