Jagadish Reddy distributes Batukamma Sarees in Suryapet
Hyderabad, Oct.3 (Maxim News): Telangana State energy minister G. Jagadish Reddy today distributed batukamma sarees in his assembly seat Suryapet. Speaking on the occasion, he said that people of the state used to be scared to hold the batukamma celebrations seven years back and added that they would also be scared to use telangana dialect.
He said that the batukamma festival was nothing but a symbol of telangana culture and customs .He said that the CM of the state would treat the women of the state as his siblings He said that the main objective of the CM behind distributing the batukamma sarees was to help the weavers of the state.
