Jagga Thanks Center On Migrant Workers Issue

Hyderabad, May 1 (Maxim News): Congress Party MLA T. Jayaprakash Reddy thanked central government for taking decision to allow migrant workers stranded in state to return to their native places. He said that he was welcoming the decision of the state and central government to send 1100 migrant workers , who are stuck at IIT Hyderabad at Kandi of Sangareddy to their native places on pilot basis. He said that he was more happy that the workers were being sent through trains from Lingampally railway station to their native Jharkhand state.

Speaking to media persons, he said that the migrant workers of L&T company stuck at Sangareddy based IIT Hyderabad urged him to take them to their native villages and places. Citing that 170 Telugu students belonging to Telangana and AP states are stranded in Jodhpur of Rajasthan , he urged the chief ministers of the two states KCR and YS Jaganmohan Reddy to respond on the issue and take steps to bring back all the students to the state. He also urged the two CMs to take steps to allow those people who are stuck in different places of the state to allow them to return to their native places. He said that the police were not allowing them to return to their native places due to the lockdown. He said that all such stranded people would return to their native places if they were given one day time. (Maxim News)
