Students of Government Degree College for Women, Jagtial, celebrated Women’s Day on the college campus here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr K Kishan who presided over the function, urged the students to work for the betterment of the women folk in all spheres.
As a learnt section of society, it is your responsibility to bring change in the society, he told students. Girl students should be torch-bearers of change in the society, he added. He appealed the students to avail various government schemes aimed at the welfare of women.
