It was a grand International Women’s Day in Sangareddy, Siddipet and Medak districts on Thursday with the district administrations, police, municipalities, colleges and schools organising special programmes to felicitate women.
Administrations of the three districts invited some successful women and honoured. Cultural programmes and competitions also marked the day.
Medak and Sadhasivapet municipalities felicitated women sanitation workers. In Sangareddy, Collector Kannan Manicraj, Joint Collector Vasam Venkateshwarlu and Zilla Parishad Chairperson Rajamani Murali Yadav participated in the programme.
