Karnataka Elections: BJP Releases Its Manifesto

Elections | Bengaluru/Hyderabad, May 1 (Maxim News): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today released its manifesto for the Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections. In the presence of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and senior leader BS Yeddyurappa, the party’s national president JP Nadda released the election plan under the name “Praja Dhavani”

Speaking to the media after the release of the manifesto, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommay said that it is an election plan of the people. He explained in the Manifesto that promises are given to the people.

The Election manifesto promises to give three cooking gas cylinders free of cost to the poor, these cylinders will be given for the festivals of Ugadi, Vinayaka Chaviti, and Diwali.

Nandini milk will be given free at the rate of half a liter per day to the families belonging to the depressed communities.

Atal Aahar Center will be established in every ward. He said that they believe in together with all, development of all and are giving a big focus to the agriculture sector. Farmers will be given zero-interest loans upto Rs. 5 lakh.

Implementation of NRC (National Register of Citizens) in Karnataka, Fight against radicalization, Formation of a special department against fundamentalism.

Special focus on the development of Bangalore, A special scheme for apartment dwellers in Bangalore to live happily. Amendment of Karnataka Apartment Ownership Act, 1972, Constitution of Karnataka Residents Welfare Consultative Committee.

Deporting illegal immigrants

Establishment of Atal Food Centers in every ward of every municipality to make available quality, healthy and affordable food.

Partnering with elites to build public schools to the highest standards.

Encouragement of talented young professionals. Enhancing cooperation between small-scale industries and ITIs through the “Samanwaya” scheme. Financial incentives for students undergoing training for IAS, KAS, banking, and government jobs

Strengthening of Public Health infrastructure through the “Mission Swasthya Karnataka” scheme

Establishment of Namma Clinics in each ward in Municipal Corporations, Free annual master health check-ups for senior citizens. Development of Bangalore as the “State Capital Region” for future generations.

Development of Karnataka as a premier hub for electric vehicles, Setting up charging stations across the state, supporting 1,000 start-up companies, and converting BMTC buses into fully electric buses. Construction of “EV City ” in the suburbs of Bangalore.

Establishment of K-Agri fund with Rs. 30 thousand crores for modernization of agro-processing units. APMCs digitization and establishment of micro cold storage centers.

Establishment of 5 new agro-industry clusters, and 3 new food processing parks. Allocation of Rs. 1500 crores to make Karnataka a most attractive tourist destination, Development of Kalyana Circuit, Banavasi Circuit, Parasurama Circuit, Cauvery Circuit, Ganagapura Corridors.

Expansion of Product Linkage Incentive Scheme, creation of 10 lakh manufacturing jobs in ‘beyond Bangalore’ distribution of 10 lakh house plots for the homeless poor.

If the SC and ST women make a fixed deposit for five years under the “Onake Obavva Social Justice fund” scheme, the government will make an additional matching deposit of Rs. 10,000. (Maxim News)
