KCR Failed To Perform As Expected: Rahul

Hyderabad, Nov.28 (Maxim News): AICC president Rahul Gandhi today came down heavily against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and his party for failing to reach expectations of people despite they voted it to power to get their legitimate share in funds, jobs and waters.

Addressing a mammoth public meeting in Kosgi mandal of Kodangal Assembly constituency today, Rahul Gandhi alleged that CM KCR shattered the dreams of the people and asked the public whether they such a government. “Do we need a government like KCR’s in the State? The annual budget of the State is Rs 2 lakh and there is the possibility to spend Rs 2 lakh on every family in the State, but this has not happened under KCR’s rule. However, the income of KCR’s family has gone up during the last four-and-a-half years,” he said amid a huge round of applause from the audience.

The AICC president also alleged that the TRS government had changed the names of all irrigation projects launched by the Congress party earlier. He also alleged that the CM had looted Rs 40,000 crore of public money in the name of redesigning the irrigation projects. He also said the CM had cheated the unemployed youth in the name of providing one lakh jobs to them.

Rahul Gandhi has alleged that KCR extended support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi whenever sought. He also alleged that Modi was trying to create rift among the people of the State with the help of KCR. He pointed out that every bill passed by the BJP-led Union government had the support of TRS and dubbed the TRS as “Telangana Rastra Sangh Parivar.” He also questioned the CM’s silence on Rafale deal. He predicted a landslide victory for the grand alliance in the State in the December 7 elections.
