Komatireddy Campaigns For Party Candidates In Pochampally Municipality

Hyderabad, Jan.17 (Maxim News): The Congress party MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today campaigned for the party candidates in Pochampally Municipality for the upcoming municipal elections.

Addressing different gatherings on the occasion, he said that the Congress party had created the separate Telangana state. He urged the voters of the urban local body to vote for the party candidates and ensure their victory in the elections. He made it clear that the municipal elections were the elections of the poor. Referring to the party symbol hand, he said that the hand of the party had helped the poor and fed his stomach. Recalling the services of Konda Laxman Bapuji, who hailed from the municipality, has said that Bapuji held Sakala Janula Samme event at the ripe of age 95 demanding the formation of the separate Telangana state. Reddy said that he raised the drinking problem of the issue of the residents of the municipality in Parliament and urged the central government to take steps to solve it as soon as possible.

He promised that he would sanction funds from his MP quota and ensure the development of the municipality. Citing that the local MLA has adopted the town to develop it in an all round manner, he said that he was shocked to find that there were no CC roads in the 13th ward of the municipality. He said that he would do padayatra in the entire state during the next four years and work hard to bring back the party to power. (Maxim News)
