Hyderabad, Sept. 11: BRS working president K T Rama Rao (KTR) accused the Revanth Reddy government of misusing the Section 22(A) prohibited land list.
Rama Rao alleged that the list was being used to target property owners and facilitate land-related irregularities.

Rama Rao described the issue as a major scam and said the BRS would raise it with Congress Lok Sabha Leader Rahul Gandhi.

Rama Rao alleged that a parallel revenue system was operating alongside the official administration.
He claimed the system benefited the relatives of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.
Rama Rao further alleged that officials were demanding commissions to remove properties from the prohibited list.
He claimed some property owners were allegedly pressured to pay 30 percent commissions for such removals.
Rama Rao said the BRS would continue raising the concerns of people affected by the 22(A) list.
The allegations come amid wider political criticism over the management of prohibited properties under the Bhu Bharati system.
