Hyderabad, March 29: A drone attack targeting the residence of Nechirvan Barzani has heightened tensions in West Asia. The incident has raised concerns as regional instability appears to be spreading further.

The attack took place in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Although Nechirvan Barzani was not injured, the development caused alarm. He stated that the attack was inappropriate. Meanwhile, Masrour Barzani strongly condemned the incident and described it as a cowardly act.

He also demanded immediate action against those responsible. Furthermore, Masrour Barzani called on the international community to support the Kurdistan Region. He stressed the need to protect the security and interests of its citizens. Therefore, he said that the region has the right to respond and will take all necessary measures.

Meanwhile, the incident has triggered a blame game between global powers. The United States expressed suspicion that militia groups supporting Iran may have carried out the attack. However, Iran rejected this and accused the United States and Israel of jointly carrying out the assassination attempt. This exchange of accusations has added to the uncertainty.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps also reacted strongly. It condemned the attack targeting the Kurdistan President and described it as an act of terrorism. It further stated that it is ready to protect regional partners. However, there is still no clarity on who carried out the attack.
