It will be organized with the support of GMRI Green Health Services.
It will be a two-hour practical training program. Each participant will be trained on a mannequin.

Just 2% of the population is trained in CPR in India. It is a very sad state of affairs. Without CPR 92% die before making it to the hospital. Every minute without CPR, the survival rate decreases by 10%. 9 in 10 people in cardiac arrest die. But CPR can help improve if performed in the first few minutes of cardiac arrest. CPR can double or triple a person’s chance of survival, said D. Ramchandram, Project Coordinator of “Let The Hearts Beat”, a Lodge Keys No. 297 community outreach initiative.
CPR is an essential Life skill and everyone must be trained.
A total of 40 are allowed in this training program. Out of forty 25 poor and first respondents will be trained free of cost. The 25 free participants include first responders such as Cab, auto drivers, watchmen, and street vendors. The remaining 15 participants will be charged a nominal fee. A certificate will be issued at the end of the training program.
