Man Arrested For Defrauding Rs. 3 Crore In The Name Of Chits

Peddapalli/Hyderabad, Nov 7 (Maxim News): Police arrested Thakur hanuman Prasad, who had collected Rs. 3 crores from several people in the name of chits and fled.

According to the details, the victims approached the police in December last year, alleging that they had been cheated by ThakurHanuman Prasad.  Based on the victims complaint, the police registered a case, Hanuman Prasad, who has been missing since then, was arrested and remanded.  The victims complained that Hanuman Prasad had collected more than Rs. 3 crore in the name of Chits from his friends, government employees, private doctors and acquaintances.  

Apart from that, the victims said that IP noties were also sent to 46 people.  Hanuman Prasad, who had taken a bank loan on a house in his name in the city, even tricked the bank officials and got the house registered as a gift in the name of his son of the sub-registrar’s office.  (Maxim News)
