Nalgonda/Hyderabad, Aug 14 (Maxim News) The court has sentenced the accused to death under the POCSO Act in a case of rape and murder of a minor girl. In 2013 the accused Mohami Mukarramu raped a 12 year-old girl after finding her alone in a house in Nalgonda.
Later, he murdered her and dumped her body in a canal. In this regard, the One Town Police have registered a case against the accused under the POCSO Act and the crime of murder.
After arguments were held in the district court for the last 10 years, today the in-charge Judge of the POCSO court, Roja Ramani, delivered the final verdict. In this case the accused was sentenced to death a fine of Rs. 1.10 lakh (Maxim News)
