Mancherial, Sept. 28: Two women were killed and four others injured after a lorry collided with an auto-rickshaw at Naspur in Mancherial on Monday morning.
Police identified the deceased as Atthili Soundarya and Chintakunta Laxmi. They suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
The injured were shifted to the Government General Hospital in Mancherial for treatment. A woman and a man were reportedly in critical condition.

The victims belonged to Gudipelli and Ponnaram villages in Mandamarri mandal. They worked at a shopping mall in Mancherial town and were travelling to work when the accident occurred.
According to eyewitnesses, the auto-rickshaw driver suddenly attempted a U-turn after reaching Naspur. A lorry approaching from the opposite direction then collided with the three-wheeler.
The impact caused the fatal crash and left four people injured. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the collision.
