Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh Seminar on ‘Inspired Leadership’ at Air Force Academy

Secunderabad, 27 May 2023: To commemorate the legacy of Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh, a seminar on ‘Inspired Leadership’ was held at the Air Force Academy Dundigal, Hyderabad on 27 May 2023. The seminar was focussed on igniting the bright minds of the young military leaders, being trained at the Academy. The opening address was delivered by Air Marshal R Radhish, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command. The seminar was graced by eminent speakers and panellists that included Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne (Retd), Air Vice Marshal Manmohan Bahadur (Retd), Air Vice Marshal (Dr) Arjun Subramaniyam (Retd), Air Vice Marshal Manish Khanna and Mr Anchit Gupta.

A wide array of topics were covered by the speakers, including talks on inspired leadership and legendary military leaders like Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh, DFC. The speakers highlighted the nuances of military leadership and the ways to nurture it. The speakers discussed the changing nature of warfare as well as the present and future challenges of military leadership.

The closing address was delivered by Air Marshal B Chandra Sekhar, Commandant, Air Force Academy. He urged the torchbearers of the Indian Air Force to carry forward their dream, by becoming thorough professionals, fully dedicated to the service of the nation and Indian Air Force, creating an environment that promotes camaraderie, cohesiveness and a shared sense of mission accomplishment, always and every time.
