Ministers Filed Nomination on CM KCR Behalf for TRS President Post

Hyderabad, Oct.17 (Maxim News): A team of several Ministers today filed a set of nominations for the post of TRS president for incumbent K Chandrasekhar Rao. They submitted the nominations in the name of K Chandrasekhar Rao for the president post of TRS at Telangana Bhavan here.

The election returning officer and former MLC Prof Srinivas Reddy accepted the nominations by the ministers.

The Ministers who participated in the program include Mahamood Ali, Jagadish Goud, Niranjan Reddy, Srinivas Goud, Srinivas Yadav, Malla Reddy, Indrakaran Reddy, Dayakar Rao, Ajay Kumar, Sabitha Indra Reddy, and Satyavathi Rathod,

The nominations would be accepted till October 22, scrutinized on October 23 and withdrawals on October 24.
The new president of TRS would be known if elected unopposed on October 24 itself.

The schedule is to elect the president of the ruling party on October 25.

The TRS party has issued a notification to elect its new president on October 25 by accepting the nominations.
The Ministers submitted the nominations on behalf of the TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Now KCR has been heading the party since its inception. His son and MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao is working president of the party.

The TRS appointed P Krishna Murthy as an election observer and the results of the same were to be out on October 25.

Former speaker of the Assembly S Madhusudhan Chary would be Convener of the resolutions committee. (Maxim News)
