The case details were disclosed in Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s press meeting. Dave reminded me that the Chief Minister’s press meeting was held on November 3, but the CDs were submitted to the magistrate on October 29. He said it was not right to cancel the SIT investigation on the grounds that the Chief Minister had put out the CDs. He said that in the copy of the single judge’s order if a similar dispute arises in Babu Bhai’s case, the investigation agency has been changed, but the case has been given to the CID.

Earlier, Supreme Court Senior Counsel Uday Hulla argued on behalf of Srinivas, saying that when his client was not at home, 30 policemen came and pasted the notice. The judge brought to the attention of the police that if he did not listen, he threatened to make him an accused.
