MLC Polls Ends With About 60% Votes Polled

Polling for two graduate MLC polls was ended today peacefully in two segments of Hyderabad and Naglonda. While as many as 93 contestants are in fray for Hyderabad segment 71 in Nalgonda segment for the prestigious turned polls.

Hyderabad, March 14 (Maxim News): Polling for two graduate MLC polls was ended today peacefully in two segments of Hyderabad and Naglonda. With the graduate voters sealing the fate of the contestants the parties are now caught a sort of tense moments for the results to be out on March 17. While as many as 93 contestants are in fray for Hyderabad segment 71 in Nalgonda segment for the prestigious turned polls.

The election officials have allowed the graduate voters who were in queue lines by 4 pm. The poll body has allowed the voters to cast their votes from 8 am to 4 pm. According to reports the voter turnout of the graduates in both the segments was good and put at about 60 percent. In Hyderabad segment voting percent was pegged at 39.09 per cent and in Nalgonda it was put at 43.46 percent by 2 pm and it gradually increased as the voters started pouring in.

TRS fielded Vani Devi, BJP Ramchandra Rao, Congress Chinnaa Reddy in Hyderabad segment and others are in fray. Similarly The TRS fielded Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, BJP Premender Reddy, and the Congress Ramulu Naik for the Nalgonda segment and others in fray. The counting of the votes polled will take place at Sarurnagar indoor stadium in the city and the results will be declared on March 17. (Maxim News)
