Modi will be Prime Ministerial candidate in 2024 general elections: Amit Shah

Who the NDA would nominate as its candidate for prime minister in the general elections of 2024 has been the subject of extensive debate. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, delivered a significant announcement to put a stop to the rumors. He made it clear that Narendra Modi, who is the incumbent prime minister, will also be the BJP’s nominee for prime minister in the subsequent election. He will participate in the elections under his direction, it has been made clear.

Amit Shah also said that the BJP and JD(U) coalition may be reinforced. He clarified that both the 2024 general election and the 2025 Bihar assembly elections will see joint campaigns from the two parties. At the two-day joint national executive conference of the BJP’s fronts held in Patna, Amit Shah served as the chief guest. During his speech at the closing ceremony on Sunday, he made these remarks.

The BJP ran a campaign claiming that Prime Minister Modi would step down after the 2024 elections and be replaced by a different candidate. Amit Shah provided clarification in this regard two years before the elections. The activists received a clear message from him that Modi is their candidate.

In this programme, tricolour flags fashioned by Kashmiris were given to all participants. According to sources within the party, the flags they created were distributed to demonstrate that Kashmiris had altered their thoughts following the repeal of Article 370.

Amit Shah also urged raising the flags of the nation everywhere to commemorate “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.” The tricolour flags should be flown on every home for three days, from August 13 to 15, according to a suggestion.
