MP Komatireddy Faults Govt On Yadadri Works

Hyderabad, Dec.4 (Maxim News): Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today lashed out at the State government and TRS leadership on Yadadri temple development issues. He found fault with the ruling party leaders for resorting to belittle newspapers for writing stories on Yadadri temple development.

“It is wrong to tear a vernacular daily for publishing a news item in this regard”, the Congress leader said, adding that the government was not following norms to sculpt a main idol of the temple. It has to be monitored by priests like China Jeeyar Swamy instead of giving works to architect Ananda Sai, he said.

Reconstruction and renovation of the temple is hurting people’s sentiments, Venkat Reddy felt. Instead of being negligent on the issue, the officials can give clarity on the lapses if related works in Yadadri temple, he said. (Maxim News)
