Somu Veerraju today held a press conference to say Union Government is willing to accord Special Status to AP but it lacks faith on the corrupt TDP Government. ‘Centre is ready to offer Rs 16,000 crore to AP under Special Status but it can’t trust TDP Government anymore.
Hence, We brought the proposal of setting up a Special Corporation for extending benefits of Special Status. If CM accepts the proposal of establishing ‘Special Status Vehicle’, AP will receive all the benefits of Special Status. There needn’t be any doubts on BJP in this matter. Whereas, Chandrababu Naidu isn’t ready for it and playing with the lives of people for covering his mistakes,’ he alleged.
