Nampally Court Given Tribal Welfare Officer Jag Jyoti For 14 Days Remand

Hyderabad, Feb 21 (Maxim News): ACB officials produced Jag Jyoti, Executive Engineer of the Tribal Welfare department, who was caught taking a bribe of Rs. 84 thousand from the contractor.  In the Nampally Court. After a medical examination at Osmania Hospital, she was brought before the Judge of the ACB court and remanded for 14 days. Later she was shifted to Chanchalguda Jail.

Officials searched Jag Jyoti’s residence on Tuesday and seized Rs, 65,50,000 in cash 3.639 kg of gold worth Rs, 1,51,08,175, plots and documents related to agricultural land. The value of the land is to be assessed.  She was found to have properties in both the Telugu states. (Maxim News)
