Meenakshi Natarajan alleged that the BJP was indulging in vindictive politics against the Gandhi family and misusing investigative agencies for political purposes.

Meenakshi Natarajan also accused the BJP of attempting to erase the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi by removing the Gandhi name from welfare schemes.

Natarajan further remarked that the BJP lacked basic understanding of the history and role of the National Herald newspaper. According to her, the case was being politicised to divert public attention from real issues affecting the country.

Reiterating her stand, Meenakshi Natarajan said that while justice may be delayed, it can never be denied. She stressed that the Congress would remain committed to democratic values and continue its struggle through constitutional and non violent means.

TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud also led party leaders and workers during the rally. The protest passed off peacefully under police supervision.

Congress leaders said such demonstrations would continue to highlight what they described as misuse of power by the BJP government. They added that the party would take its message directly to the people across Telangana in the coming days. (Maxim News)
