No Corona Virus Case In State: Etala

Hyderabad, Feb.2 (Maxim News): Health Minister Etala Rajender today announced high alert on Corona virus problem in Telangana State.

The minister held a high-level review meeting with officials on preparedness to tackle the contagious virus. He instructed the officials to ensure availability of Pulmonology doctors in all the teaching hospitals. He also instructed the officials to alert people through video conferencing. Conduct check ups for corona virus if any person/s are suspected to have it, the minister asked the Health officials.

Later, Rajender informed that the State government hospitals were fully prepared for any eventuality in this regard. Those coming from China should visit city hospitals for virus check up which needs about 10 hours, he appealed. He also said health check-ups and services for corona virus will commence in Gandhi Medical College from Monday. Also the doctors and staff are ready at Fever, Gandhi and Chest hospitals to check the problem, he said, adding that no case proved positive in the State and the people should not worry about it.

All the government hospitals were equipped with facilities and adequate staff and ready with masks sanitizers, he said. The State was following the Centre’s instructions to check corona virus. “There was no need of panic as we are ready to tackle any emergency,” he added. (Maxim News)
